Join us at Oaklawn Hot Springs for the annual High School Broyles Award event, with a Ring Ceremony for all winners on February 13th, 2026.

Racing Destination

Thoroughbred racing is where it all began at Oaklawn. We are best known as the home of the Racing Festival of the South and $1.25 million Arkansas Derby. Over the last decade, the track has played host to some of the biggest names in the sport.

Event Details

Accommodations at Oaklawn are provided at no cost for invited guests and spouses
Guests are responsible for arranging their own air travel to the Little Rock National Airport (LIT) if traveling via air
The Broyles Award will provide private transport between the Little Rock Airport and Oaklawn Hot Springs for special guests (45m travel time)

Thursday, February 13th:

2:00pm – Please try to fly in before 2:00pm into Little Rock Airport (LIT) We will arrange transportation from Little Rock Airport to Oaklawn in Hot Springs, AR.
5:30 pm – VIP Pre-Ceremony Reception for coaches, special guests and sponsors
7:00-9:00 pm – College Awards Ceremony

- About 800 guests in attendance
- Special guests: Mark May, Desmond Howard
- Attire:
  - Men: suit and tie
  - Women: Cocktail attire
Post-Ceremony (9:00pm – close) –
- VIP Experience in Pop’s Lounge: relax and unwind with finalists, former winners, High School Broyles Award winners, and special guests
- Open tables at Casino for interested parties
- Sports bar with games, food, activities, television, and more
- Attire:
  - Please feel free to change post-dinner into something more comfortable

Friday, February 14th:

8:30 am – Coach’s Breakfast for HSBA winners, and former winners in Room (TBA)
- Attire: casual
8:30 am – Wives’ Breakfast, a casual, drop-in event for spouses in Room (TBA)
- Attire: casual
12:30 pm – 5:00 pm – Horse-racing at Oaklawn
- Section H indoor in the grandstands is reserved. There are places to watch racing outside as well.
- Attire:
  - You will see everything from jeans and a t-shirt to boots and hats. We encourage embracing the racing atmosphere.
6:00pm – High School Broyles Award Reception Hotel Lobby Bar
7:00pm-9:00pm – High School Broyles Award Ring Ceremony with guest speaker Coach Matt Rhule.

Post ceremony (9:00pm-close) –
- Reserved tables in Pop’s Lounge: relax and unwind with live music all night
- Open tables at Casino for interested parties
