LSU’s Joe Brady named college football’s top assistant coach

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – [Dec. 10, 2019] – The Frank & Barbara Broyles Foundation announces Joe Brady, Passing Game Coordinator/Wide Receivers at LSU, as the winner of the 24th annual Broyles Award. The 2019 Broyles Award finalists included:
BAYLOR – Phil Snow, Defensive Coordinator
GEORGIA – Dan Lanning, Defensive Coordinator
LSU – Joe Brady, Passing Game Coordinator/Wide Receivers
OHIO STATE – Jeff Hafley, Co-Defensive Coordinator/Secondary Coach
UTAH – Morgan Scalley, Defensive Coordinator/Safeties
The announcement of the 2019 Broyles Award winner was made Tuesday, December 10th at the Marriott Hotel. The Broyles Award honors college football’s top assistant coach. The award was established in 1996 to recognize legendary head football Coach Frank Broyles. Coach Broyles had a track record of producing some of the most successful assistant coaches in college football history.
Proceeds from the 2019 Broyles Award support the mission of the Broyles Foundation; to provide a game plan through education, support, and resources to Alzheimer’s caregivers.
