As of Nov. 18, Clark and the Tigers defense lead the country with a dozen fumble recoveries, T-4th nationally in turnover margin (+13), No. 9 in turnovers gained (21), No. 17 in rushing defense (108.2) No. 39 with 69.0 tackles for loss, No. 42 in first-down defense (169) and No. 50 in scoring defense (22.6). - Dating back to the win over UAB last year, Memphis has forced at least one turnover in 14 of its last 18 games. Over that stretch, the Tigers have created 32 takeaways (17 INT, 15 FR). • The Tigers (7-0) completed an undefeated season at home for the first time since 2020. • The nine-win season gives the Tigers nine or more wins for just the 11th time in 109 seasons of football with the potential to earn a 10th win still on the table.
