In his first season on staff, Cody Kennedy has transformed the Arkansas offensive line into a force that has rushed for 2194 yards through the team’s first nine games. To make the progression with the OL even more impressive, Kennedy did not take over coaching the offensive line until June after originally joining the Razorbacks as the team’s tight ends coach.
At Tulane, Kennedy served as the Green Wave’s offensive line coach helping the Wave score 32 rushing touchdowns in 2020 – seventh-most in the nation – and rank 17th nationally while leading the American Athletic Conference for the second straight year with 217.1 yards rushing per game. His 2019 Tulane OL paved the way for a school record 3,162 yards rushing.
7-3, 3-3 SEC Arkansas reached as high as No. 8 in the AP Poll earlier this season, the team’s highest ranking since 2012.
