In his eighth year with the Bulldogs, Scott's group continues to shine for a defense that is perennially one of.the nation's best. Scott has developed Nazir Stackhouse (22 tackles), Christen Miller (22), Warren Brinson (17), Mykel Williams (16) and Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins (15) to be a formidable group during wins over No. 14 Clemson and No. 1 Texas in performances away from Athens that featured a combined six scoreless quarters, including a pair of scoreless fourth periods. Most recently, Scott and the Bulldog defense held No. 7 Tennessee scoreless in the second half during a Georgia victory. The five DL listed above have combined for 22.5 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks, including eight TFL from first-time starter Ingram-Dawkins. Scott continues to be a dynamic recruiter for a Georgia program that lands in the top five each year and is a favorite both among his fellow coaches and within the team. The Arkansas Tech graduate hit the decade mark as a full-time coach last season and has been on Kirby Smart's staff for all but one year since 2016. That tenure has featured two national championships and an incredible 95-13 record as Scott works on yet another upcoming group of prospects for the NFL Draft.
