Oregon State is one of 23 teams on the midseason watch list for the Joe Moore Award. It’s the second time under Michalczik OSU has been honored as the team was a semifinalist in 2021.Taliese Fuaga, an All-American in 2022, is graded as the nation’s No. 1 offensive lineman & those with 300 or more snaps & by PFF this season. Fuaga is also No. 1 in run blocking. Fuaga is a 2023 midseason All-American by virtually every publication, including ESPN, the Associated Press, The Athletic, 247 Sports, CBS Sports and Pro Football Focus. His teammate, Tanner Miller, who began his career as a walk on, was a second-team midseason All-American by the AP. Oregon State has been rated as one of the top offensive lines in the nation by multiple organizations, and is ranked as the No. 2 run blocking line in the nation by Pro Football Focus in 2023. The Beavers have given up just 12 sacks in 2023 over the first nine games. OSU, in 2023, has also allowed just 44 tackles for loss, among the fewest in the Pac-12. The 2023 Beavers have lready had four Offensive Lineman of the Week honors (as of Nov. 6), with two by Joshua Gray. The 2022 Beavers had the No. 6 graded run-blocking line in the nation by Pro Football Focus. OSU’s Damien Martinez is on pace to surpass 1,000 rushing yards this season. Martinez would have the 20th 1,000-yard season running behind a Michalczik-coached offensive line. Oregon State has the No. 3 rushing offense in the Pac-12 in 2023. Oregon State has the No. 5 rushing offense in the Pac-12 in 2023, and was No. 4 in 2022. Three of the Beavers’ five offensive linemen were named All-Pac-12 in 2022.
