Ron’s defensive and intensity has been an intregal part on leading Louisville to an 8-1 record and a No. 11 ranking in the country in his first season with the Cards. His defense is ranked in the top 20 in 10 different categoroes. His defense has posted a pairnof shutouts including the school’s first ever over a ranked opponent. the Cards also defeated No. 10 Notre Dame. Louisville is in the mist of holding five straight opponents to less than 100 yards rushing and less than 300 yards of total offense. The cards rank in the top 15 in scoring defense total defense and rushing defense. The Cards have held siz opponents to 20 or fewer poijts this season. Ron’s defense has doninated opponents, especially No. 20 Duke, which only ran 6 plays in UofL territory. through nine games, the cards have allowed only nine touchdowns and opponents have only 14 attempts inside you avails 20 yard line.
He has taken over a program that only returned six starters on defense, and used a number of transfers and newcomers to allow the cards to amass an eight in one Mark and a defense that has become one of the most consistent defenses in the country.
