Scott Isphording

Ohio

Offensive Coordinator/QBs

Conference: MAC

Coach Stats

Why should this nominee be considered for the Broyles Award?
Coach Isphording has been an asset to our program for ten years, and has developed multiple quarterbacks into all-league players. This season our offense has taken a major step forward, and that is in large part due to his performance in his second season as our offensive coordinator. His continued development of our starting quarterback has been the catalyst for our offensive explosion this season. His level headedness and steady hand has brought a new edge to our offense that has allowed us to have the successes that we have had thus far.
Coach's Past Performance
As someone who has been in our building for ten seasons, Coach Isphording has positively impacted the lives of countless student athletes during his time with the Bobcats. He previously helped develop Nathan Rourke into one of the best quarterbacks in Ohio history and the front runner for the CFL MVP this season. Armani Rogers, who played for the Bobcats the last two seasons, made the Washington Commanders roster as a tight end, and set the NCAA record for longest QB run ever.  Isphording has won two MAC East division titles, been to five bowl games (winning three), and 66% of his games in MAC play during his time with us.
